Ride Kyoto’s quiet lanes on an e-bike to UNESCO Kinkakuji and more, with small-group guides, bike, helmet, and water included.

“It was lovely visiting some of the quieter and less touristy temples, shrines and streets. Yuta was a phenomenal guide and shared lots of great info about Giesha, Samurai history, Zen Buddhism and the customs of visiting temples and shrines. He provided a great deal of context and richness to the places we visited. The ebikes were fun and allowed us to travel up steep hills and all over town without exhausting us on the warm and muggy day. We really enjoyed ourselves exploring Kyoto this way! Highly recommend!”

“Due to illness, I was offered a place on the Full Tour instead of the North Tour, and everything was handled super smoothly regarding that, which I appreciated a lot. The tour itself was fantastic, I had a wonderful day riding all over Kyoto. Our guide was so fun, knowledgeable and entertaining, I really enjoyed his guidance around the city. He tailored the speed and route to the group's skill which was wonderful. The day was paced super well with frequent little breaks so even in the very hot weather it never felt too much to cycle. I would wholeheartedly recommend these tours to anyone wanting to enjoy Kyoto to…”

“Peter was exceptional as a tour guide around Kyoto!! I would highly recommend this tour as you get to see all the sites, he's very informative of the culture/history, and is a great conversationalist. If you're in Kyoto, this is a MUST!!! My son and I are avid bike riders and enjoyed being on bikes for the day but even if you're not, it's broken up with various stops. There is an e-bike option as well (which my wife chose) that made it more manageable/enjoyable for her.”

“My two daughters (17 & 21) and I had a lovely trip and Philipe was an amazing tour guide! We toured the east side of Kyoto and hiked up a beautiful mountain trail to an amazing city view! The hike was peaceful and serene but a bit challenging if you dont hike much but if you go at a slower pace its manageable and worth the beautiful view! We had a lovely picnic lunch on the philosophers pathway. It was such a wonderful and memorable day and we’re so grateful for the insight and information Philipe provided during the tour. We highly recommend this tour! Thank you so much!”
