Also just make sure you layer up if you are going in winter as it does get colder than the main Kanazawa areas. I do wish we had a little more time allocated as a few stores had queues. We ran out of time and couldnt check out the inside of the grass hut houses. You must try the higashi beef skewers…”

Yasushi’s tour around Kenruoken Garden was vey interesting and the scenery was spectacular in the snow. A great tour - highly recommended.”
